This is the first page in a five-page series (story?) I am trying to finish by tonight in order to submit it on time to the SPX compilation. I didn't have time to draw a regular strip, so I put up one of the almost finished pages I made. I inked some of the bigger black areas on photoshop, but it'll end up being retouched by hand before it gets sent in.
I haven't really drawn many full-sized comic pages, so it's an interesting change for me. I've drawn over 1,300 regular comic strips, I kinda understand the pacing a bit more. It's funny how the first page turned out, what with the lack of punchline. Anyway, I hope the series turns out well. There'll probably be one more page of it up before I go back to the comic strips.
